Bottom liners, leachate containment and final caps — a complete geosynthetic package for modern engineered landfills.
The engineering problem
A landfill must contain leachate for decades: aggressive chemistry, heavy waste loads, differential settlement of the subgrade, and puncture risk from drainage aggregate all attack the liner system. The design answer is a composite barrier — an impermeable membrane protected on both sides by cushion geotextile.
- Smooth HDPE geomembrane — the primary barrier: impermeable, chemically resistant to leachate, UV-stabilized for exposed caps, manufactured to GRI-GM13
- PP filament geotextile — cushion and protection above and below the membrane; 2–6.5 m widths cut seams on large cells
- PET staple geotextile — filtration layer in leachate collection drains — passes water, retains soil
